View Full Version : SS with 2 decoders?

Dear Team,
It would be possible to use two decoders connected (one gets the keys and the other receives the signal carrier) to do SS?

This is possible. And in fact this is exactly what SS providers usually do in order to legally offer their dongles in the market. See famous ones like Microbox, Morebox, Y6 and others.
But Team AzAmerica is not an SS provider. Nor it currently releases STBs alternative firmware to convert FTA STB in any kind of SS dongle.

And what about the azamerica decoders that are working with smart adapter? If the TEAM has created a firmware that allowed this, why not make a firmware that enables the connection of two decoders azamerica to the SS?
That would be a great option, especially since there are several users who have more than one decoder at home.

As I wrote before main point is: Team AzAmerica is not an SS provider.
Only an SS provider is capable to offer a SS dongle/firmware. 'Cause only it will know how it uplinks the keys, to which satellite, which TP, which protocol, and so on.

Sure, I understand what you mean. The smart adapter only has worked in azamerica due Firmware own adapter which has the information you mentioned above.
It's bad. Well that might have some option to enter this data manually or something, as in a conventional CS. But do not really know what these data are possible and are not to get.
But it would be nice to use the SS for free!

Impossible. That's the way SS is designed for.
If it was easy to somehow configure satellite, TP, downlink protocol, and so on....it would be very easy to stop it! The internet provider used by the SS provider would be possible to identify it and shut it down in a few hours.
Everything runs based on proprietary info.
Just for instance...I doubt AzBox itself knows how ther Smart really operates. If they know, they could do what you want (SS firmware for EVO for instance), but I do think only the third party that sells the SS dongle for them (Microbox) really knows how the uplink is and so how it should be handled in Smart. AzBox probably only know the Smart/STB protocol, just like AzAmerica.
There's a chance AzBox knows, but they are prohibited by third party contract to disclosure it and also to implement it in their STBs.

Oxbox,
Tags: Twin, Micro, SDS, SKS, S-box, Blue-box, Gold-box, Dark-box, More-box son solo algunos nombres.

Sim! Perfeito! O protocolo SS Dongle/decodificador normalmente é de domínio público (TWIN Y4/Y6 no caso do Smart). O problema é o protocolo do downlink (stream).
Por isso eu escrevi:
